Lauren Ash Morgan, born in 1981 and a board member of the SSC's Board of Directors from 2011 she was one of the original co-artistic director of Speech of Fire. Also, she was the producer of costumes/sets, composer/musician and text coach for SSC when she was the Artistic Director of SSC. While she was usually the leader within her acting ensemble In her final season alongside SSC King Lear, she became a director and lighting designer.
